About the webinar
This webinar was part of the 2022 Equity in Education Conference.
This session will:
- Explore the measurable actions of leaders of learning
- Build shared understandings of what culturally responsive teaching and leadership practices look like in action so you can identify them in your own context and cultivate them within yourself
- Help you to critically reflect on your own beliefs and the impact of these on your practice, your colleagues, and your learners
Russell Bishop will discuss aspects of his book, Teaching to the North-East, and how to apply these learnings to your school/kura. We will also share what we have learnt from implementing Russell’s research and the ongoing development and implementation of the Relationships First programme, both in New Zealand and overseas. The Relationships First programme works to increase equity through transforming classroom, leadership and system practices in schools.
Hosted by Cognition Education Jenna Crowley, Rosina Wikaira and Russell Bishop.
