About the webinar
ERO states (2016) “Optimal student wellbeing is a sustainable state, characterised by predominantly positive feelings and attitude, positive relationships at school, resilience, self-optimism and a high level of satisfaction with learning experiences.”
Student wellbeing plays an integral part of success in learning as does the culture we establish within our schools. Students’ level of wellbeing at school is indicated by their satisfaction of life at school, their social and emotional behaviour and their engagement with learning.
During this webinar, we will explore evidence-informed practices and evaluate if our current school culture promotes a positive learning environment where students are valued, feel safe and that they belong. We will specifically focus on how to improve student wellbeing in the mathematics classroom.
Hosted by Cognition Education Mathematics experts Louise Miller and Janine Simpson.
